“Le Saut de la Bourrique” is a waterfall in the Vosges mountains located in the town of Gérardmer.
The legend attached to the name of this waterfall comes from a donkey that belonged to a lord. Returning from the crusades, the lord was attacked by bandits, to protect him the animal threw itself on them at the foot of the waterfall where it perished with the disbelievers.
