When the lake is frozen we have the feeling that time seems to have stopped. This is the first time I paint a frozen lake, a very cold experience.

I was very happy to have snow, this is the first time we have had a lot of snow in the park. But it was very windy and cold! It was -6 °C, my hands froze very quickly, I had to stop painting quickly.

On a beautiful winter day, when the sun is very low, we can see very long shadows of trees on the grass, that’s why i called “Trees and shadows” painting .
